About
Before I was a therapist, I was someone who deeply understood how relationships — both supportive and painful — shape who we become.
I believe healing happens through connection — connection with ourselves, with our stories, and with others who can witness us with care.
As a second generation Latina-Filipina therapist, I'm especially mindful of how culture, family, and intergenerational experiences influence mental health. Many of us were raised in environments where emotional needs were minimized or unspoken — and therapy can feel unfamiliar or even uncomfortable.
I strive to offer a space that feels grounded, warm, and respectful of your lived experience — without assumptions or pressure.

My work is grounded in Relational Cultural Theory, Internal Family Systems, and trauma-informed care. This means I approach therapy with curiosity, non-judgment, and a deep respect for the ways your system learned to adapt.
Rather than pathologizing your experiences, we explore them together — understanding symptoms as meaningful responses to what you've lived through.
I aim to create a space where you don't have to perform or "do therapy right," where all parts of you are welcome, and where healing unfolds through safety, honesty, and collaboration.
Background
I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Addictions Counseling from Montana State University. I've worked in community mental health and other settings serving underserved populations, which continues to shape my commitment to accessibility and care.
I was a part of the 2023–2024 National Board for Certified Counselors Minority Fellowship Addictions Program (NBCC-MFP-AC), a program aimed at supporting counselors of minority identity in working with underserved populations struggling with addiction.
I bring warmth, genuineness, and gentle directness into the therapy room. I value collaboration and trust the wisdom you already carry.
Healing does not happen in isolation — and it does not require minimizing your experiences.
